India's JTL Industries raises capex to increase pipe capacity

Indian steel pipe manufacturer JTL Industries Limited has increased its capital expenditure to increase the capacity at its four steel mills located in Punjab, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, from the current 586,000 tons/year to two million tons/year, with the expansion project to be completed by the fiscal year 2027.

The Managing Director of JTL Industries said the company aims to increase the contribution of its value-added products to over 50% of the total sales mix in the next two years.
